Hayashi Nousan Ltd. is a rice farm located in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture.
The Kurobe River, which flows by our farm, is famous as one of Japan's most pristine rivers.
The air is also very clean. We take special pride in growing rice in such an optimal environment.

Promote environmentally conscious agriculture
Our farm resides in a rich natural setting where we coexist with many other living creatures such as frogs, tadpoles, and dragonflies. Therefore, we utilize organic farming methods as much as possible, while minimizing the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. We emphasize farming practices that are gentle on the soil and protective of the environment.
We were approved for the ASIAGAP in February 2019.

We always strive to further improve the quality of the rice we grow for our customers. In order to seal in the freshness and maintain its quality, our unhusked rice is kept in specially designed, low temperature storage (at around 15 degrees celsius) all year round. We thresh the rice directly after taking a customer’s order.
Our packaging system also enables us to provide rice of the highest quality to our customers. First, we eliminate the smaller grains. Then the rice goes through the color sensor to catch any discolored grains such as might be caused by insects
We clean and polish the rice in the hopes of providing our customers with safer and more delicious rice!
